The Streak
Posted by Mike Hoffman on November 13th, 2008 filed in Army/Navy gameOver the 108 games played in the Army-Navy series, the win/loss split remains pretty even with the Navy leading 52-49 with seven ties.
However, it has been six years since the Army last won and most of those games haven’t been close, which has been a hallmark of the rivalry. The Midshipmen have won by an average of 28 points during this six game winning streak, which is the rivalry’s longest
The Black Knights will undoubtedly enter Lincoln Financial Stadium again as the underdog with Navy already accepting a bowl bid while Army’s squad has a 3-7 record with Rutgers and Navy left on their schedule.
If the Middies keep this up it will undoubtedly keep their fans smiling.
