Army sophomore quarterback Chip Bowden rolled his ankle in practice Monday and his status for Saturday’s game against Navy has been moved to questionable, according to a story in today’s Times Herald Record.
Bowden didn’t take part in practice Tuesday and was walking around in a protective boot.
Bowden came in after junior Carson Williams, who was recruited to lead former coach Bobby Ross’ pro-style passing offense, struggled to adopt the option running attack as Army limped to an 0-3 start.
Before the injury, Bowden had rushed for 566 yards as Army’s second leading rusher.
