Caption Contest: Rules & Contacts

A winner, determined by blog voting and our crack panel of judges, will be selected from each image and that person will win a prize. Anybody can submit his or her caption ideas, but in order to be eligible for a prize you must submit a working email address. That way we can contact you if you win. Military Times reserves the right to select no winner for a weekly contest. Good luck!
How to enter & what you could win: To throw your hat in the ring and enter the contest, simply click on the image or links located at the side. Below any current suggestions type your name, a working email address and your suggested caption in the bottom box. You do NOT need to submit a “website” – that box can remain empty. If your caption is selected as that week’s winner, one of our editors will contact you with prize information. New customers will win a 10-week subscription to the digital edition of the Military Times publication of their choice. Current subscribers will get 10 print issues added to their current subscription
War on spam: To cut down on spam (and we all hate spam), we must approve each user before your post can go live. Once we approve your submission your email is recorded and future submissions will instantly go live. Once you’re in you’re in for good.
