New Magpul gear out ahead of SHOT

Looks like the leak fairy has been up late tonight sprinkling scanned pages of Magpul’s 2012 catalog around the internet!

We’ve been sent 5 pages of polymery goodness with the juiciest news being the introduction of a new, highly compatible PMAG.
PMAG 30 M3 The PMAG 30 M3 and PMAG 30 M3 MAGLEVEL are updates to the PMAG that feature greater compatibility thanks to a internal and external geometry changes namely a slimmer front spine and a lowered over travel limiter on the rear spine. These changes seem clearly aimed at the HK416, though the mag is now compatible with the SA-80 and FN SCAR, so logistically, this could be  The One Mag to Rule Them All.

pmag-30-m3-maglevel Magpul has also added a paint pen dot matrix for mag identification at the bottom of the mag.

Pricing on the PMAG M3 series isn’t listed in the catalog pages, but the prices of some of the other accessories are.

xtm-handstop-and-enhanced-rails Updated XTM Enhanced rail panels feature a new grip pattern and cable routing for $8, and a four-piece XTM Hand Stop Kit, which sorta resembles a flat AFG2 will run you $20.

Maglink A polymer mag coupler, called the MAGLINK is $18. The interesting thing about the MAGLINK is the broad list of mags it’s NOT compatible with. It works with PMAG 30 (Gen2) and the new PMAG 30 M3.

pmag-30-m3-sl-floorplate The last little tidbit is the low profile floorplate for the new mags called the SL Floorplate. It knocks an 1/8th of and inch of the height of a PMAG 30 M3 for compatibility with double and triple mag pouches.
