Sure, there’s a few shoot-through dry bags out there. But few are as light as either of Nemo’s two new bags, the FAS MP7 and FAS M4. The bags are semi-disposable (its made to be shot though, after all) and are made from a light, tough, latexish material that is flexible enough to let you grab and shoot your weapon while protecting it from seawater and sand. The drybag style closure rolls up and keeps the crap away from your primary.
The are a few cool touches, like the heat resistant panels around the suppressor and ejector port. It even sports a clear window so your IR designator/laser will work right through the bag. The included Hypalon strap wraps around the weapon’s stock and barrel for a secure carry and adds hardly anything to the total 8-10 oz. package weight. Packed up, the bags are about the size of a freezer bag. $99 for the M4 and $89 for the MP7.
