Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch, III Corps CG, rides an H-D Heritage Softail. He even led a half-day base-wide ride out of Ft. Hood with his CSM, who also rides a Softail.

July 7th, 2009 at 12:59 amI like the photo…. but I just read on your front page about rising numbers of motorcycle fatalities among military members, and the requirement of protective clothing on most bases….. where are these folks protective leather jackets, pants and boots???? Should they be setting an example???
