Guarding against the cold

U.S. sailor Mark Sashegyi of Miami, Fla., bundles up in cold weather gear to try and stay warm while he patrols the deck of aircraft carrier Nimitz in Hong Kong during a recent port call. The visit by Nimitz and four other ships to Hong Kong is a sign that recent tensions between China and the U.S. may be easing after flare-ups over an arms sale to Taiwan and the Dalai Lama’s meeting with President Obama.
