“‘When do we get some PDA time around here?”
That’s the question Janet Patterson of Arlington, Texas, asked aloud as she approached her son, 1st Lt. Tyler Patterson, on Saturday during a short break between events. Patterson, along with his Team 21 partner 1st Lt. Lloyd Wohlschlegel, was representing the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii.
“We’re just so proud of him,” she said. “We’re just amazed.”
