Here’s a visual rundown of this morning and afternoon’s events:
Leeann Tweeden met with the wounded soldiers visiting from Walter Reed.

They got along just fine.
Scott Sturla gave a nice performance of his song “Eight Days,” a tribute to his brother James, a Marine. In 2004, James Sturla was injured by a rocket-propelled grenade on his eighth day in Iraq, but has since recovered. You can check out Sturla’s song here, and if you like it, donate a few bucks to the Injured Marines Fund by picking up the track.
The biggest draw of the day was WWE’s Mr. Kennedy, who came to sign autographs, and was rewarded with a Commander’s Coin for his work. He proudly held that coin out like it was a championship belt.

The first in line for an autograph: a Young Marine, of course. So, it wasn’t John Cena, but close enough.
