Day Four begins

The GIFF will be opening for Day Four in about 10 minutes. So far, there’s not much in the way of a crowd. Perhaps unfortunately for the festival, they’re scheduled the same weekend as the airshow at Andrews Air Force Base.
Today’s slate of movies and panels is pretty enticing, though: I’m most looking forward to “Year at Danger,” a documentary of a soldier’s deployment shot and directed entirely by a soldier; and the panel discussion of the 100 greatest military films. I’ll be very interested to see how that matches up with our list.
Well, folks are trickling in. Let’s see if ground-breaking filmmaking can draw as many people as the Raptor’s thrust-vectoring.
