		<description>I had no idea that JATO was used on C-130s.  My Dad used to fly B-47s in the Air Force and, when fully loaded, the under-powered 1950s Stratojets needed a little JATO boost to get off the ground.  They also used parachutes to slow the craft after landing.  Don&#039;t tell me the C-130s used parachutes, too.</description>
