The Pentagon wants to shut down some more bases stateside, but it’s not getting any support from lawmakers. The House Armed Services Committee has voted to bar spending on any base realignments or closures in fiscal 2013. It’s a battle that’s been setting up for a while now, since DoD announced its plans earlier this year. Some of our readers have weighed in with their thoughts on the possibility of new BRAC rounds.
