SIG Sauer has introduced its Electro-Optics Division line that includes a huge range of sighting devices from a pistol-mounted mini red-dot sight to a 5-30x56 long-range scope. Rangefinders, spotting scopes and even binoculars round out the product offerings.

SIG had a number of new optics setups at its SHOT Show range day Monday. Being one of the most popular "tactical" scope choices these days, the 1-6x24 Tango 6 features a very clean FFP triplex reticle with illuminated center dot (SIG also will offer it with a horseshoe-dot 300BLK reticle, or an MRAD/MOA crosshair reticle). The glass was nice and bright even in the corners, and eye relief was comfortable throughout the zoom range.

The popup and lockable turrets are oversized and easy to manipulate. They have built-in zero-stop adjustments. The illumination is motion-activated and is controlled by a large knob on the left side of the scope body. The stops on the knob alternate between a power level and off, and there is a unique "IR" setting for use with night vision.

A large rubberized and textured ring around the objective bell is for adjusting magnification. It was easy to grip and turned smoothly.

The various models will become available throughout 2015, and MSRP prices are being set now.
