27, of St Louis; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany; died Jan. 30 at Ramadi, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations. Also killed was Sgt. Corey J. Aultz.
