Died September 8, 2006 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
43, of The Dalles, Ore.; assigned to 405th Civil Affairs Battalion, Army Reserve, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed Sept. 8 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee in Kabul, Afghanistan. Also killed was Sgt. 1st Class Merideth L. Howard.
