Magpul Angled Fore Grip

Magpul's Angled Fore Grip (AFG) has been on the market for a while, and we had a chance to try it out over a few days of shooting.  The Magpul AFG is one of the first of the products that Magpul calls "theory based."  We've used VFGs in various sizes, shapes and lengths, as well as some of the newest handstops on the market, but the AFG is a very different beast. Does it work? Yes, though it takes a little getting used to. We found that some shooters were so locked into grabbing the magazine well, or using their issued VFG, that the AFG was something they had no interest in. The guys who have tried it generally like it. Magpul has gone outside the proverbial box with this design, and it makes us wonder what else it has up its sleeve.
