Well, this morning we got an email from the company announcing they were back and selling a redesigned unit, though there's no word on what's changed. I noticed right off the bat that the company is using a micro-USB port on the device and a cable based on the use of iGo cable adapters. I cannot understand why they didn't go with a regular USB port that supports all the cables you have for wall and car chargeable devices. Loose the iGo tip and good luck finding a quick replacement in an emergency.

I'm eager to hear how much power this thing can generate. If you strap one to an assault pack and patrol all day, will it run your iPod/tablet long enough to watch Old School and Anchorman back-to-back?
