If you've been waiting to get a factory rifle with the new URX 3.1 rail, your wait is over. The new rails and covers we saw back at SHOT show 2012 have slick sides and quad rail coverage up front where you need it. I'm with KAC on this one. I don't like the cheese grater effect of a quadrail, and I don't enjoy buying and installing little sections of rail to a round handguard. Having just enough rail on the sides and bottom to mount a light, a bipod and maybe a sling adapter is all I need, anyway. I think quadrails are really just a sinister industry conspiracy to keep glove and rail cover manufactures in business.
