Here's a look at the upcoming Diamondhead Rear Sight Mk 2 (Evo). We heard about the update last month and are pretty excited to give it a try. I'm a fan of irons for their simplicity and reliability. So anything that makes them faster is good news.

If you're unfamiliar with Diamondhead sights, the hallmark feature is the diamond-shaped front sight and rear cross aperture. The little posts on the rear aperture line up with the corners of the front sight walls to make lining up a sight picture more positive. The newly designed diamond-shaped upper portion on the rear sight now overlays with the front sight's profile for even faster alignment. We've heard that you can also lay the rear aperture flat in a center setting and use the rear sight walls with the front sight walls for really fast, coarse aiming for close-quarters use.
