Strix is a multispectrum, dual axis lamp that runs on a single AA battery. Out of the box, it's ready to mount on an Ops-Core rail or clip to any horizontal webbing, say, on a PALS/MOLLE field. It also comes with a headstrap. A helmet adapter plate will be available for helmets without Ops-Core rails.

Unique features include the dual axis adjustability that lets you put light exactly where you need it and three colors of visible light that can be programmed for use on the fly. There are three white light intensities on the Strix VL ($90) model; .35, 10 and 30 lumens.

The Strix IR ($140) models also have a separate IR control knob that overrides the visible light controls and provides low, high and IFF flashing IR light.

Both models run on a single AA battery for any where from 3.5 to 60 hours depending on the mode chosen.

Have a look at our video (above) which explains the features and modes of operation of the Strix.
