Grey Ghost Precision has announced the availability of the newest addition to its Glock slide lineup. The new slide is dubbed the SPG-43 (v1 and v2), an aftermarket upgrade to the Glock 43 9mm pistol.
This is news in a couple of ways, not least of which because they’re engineered and cut in house — that’s different from the majority of slide “manufacturers” who typically source their blanks from the same couple of OEM locations. The V1 and V2 are the slide cuts and milling profiles. V1 being an aggressive block cut and the V2 a more subtle “geoscale” profile.
“We manufactured these slides from 17-4PH stainless steel to have tighter tolerances than a factory slide with better serrations for improved handling, all without compromising reliability,” Grey Ghost says. “The Grey Ghost Precision SPG43 is everything we wanted in an aftermarket slide upgrade, because we carry the 43 ourselves even after we’re off the clock.”

The first 400 slides sold will be limited edition.
As best we can determine, this is currently the only aftermarket Glock 43 slide available.
