ARABIAN SEA (Oct. 6, 2011) A Sailor assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2 rappels from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9 during a training exercise aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64). HSC-9 and Gettysburg are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations and support missions as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
