The Pentagon says its data on whether troops are getting three months home for every month deployed is classified. Lawmakers are urging the Pentagon to comply with federal law so they can take action on systemic suicide risks. Rep. Don Bacon urged the Army to “give serious consideration” to basing armor units overseas after Army Times investigated suicides in tank units. In just 11 days, one team of riggers has prepared 412 bundles, delivering 206,208 meals and 77,760 bottles of water.
