U.S. Special Operations Command cut down its desired purchase of the Sky Warden, but officials still need to justify the need, says a government watchdog.
"It flies like a dream," ACC head Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach said of the new EA-37B Compass Call, a heavily adapted Gulfstream jet that will replace the EC-130.
The Air Force is planning to receive five EA-37B Compass Call electronic-warfare aircraft in 2025 as it moves forward with plans to retire its predecessor.
