An Associated Press investigation has found that at least 1,900 U.S. military firearms were lost or stolen during the 2010s, with some resurfacing in violent crimes.
The Minnesota National Guard said the men were hurt when several shots came from a light-colored SUV around 4:19 a.m. One was treated at a hospital for an injury for shattered glass, and the other Guard member’s injuries were described as superficial.
Air Force Materiel Command has barred an unnamed civilian employee from one of its bases after it said the man, allegedly a member of the far-right Proud Boys, threatened violence against the government.
