The Air Force's new PT uniform has hit basic training and will roll out to AAFES shops later this year. Marine recruits now are receiving a full issue of the camouflage combat utility uniforms. A viral photo of uniformed Marines at an event at former President Donald Trump's Florida home was not a violation of military rules, officials said. The Marine Corps also restricted the allowable colors of pantyhose for those who do choose to wear them. Airmen are now slated to start receiving new PT uniforms 18 months after they first expected to get the new threads. The Air Force released its updated dress-and-appearance regulations Thursday, complete with charts. The commandant made one recommendation before voting got underway: to eliminate the requirement for women to wear pantyhose with dress uniform skirts. A Navy policy change now allows sailors to put their hands in their pockets, wear the bucket cover, rock better PT gear and sport false eyelashes. Marines finally will see fully stocked shelves of camouflage uniforms in summer 2024. The Navy started distributing the uniforms in December 2022 to U.S. Fleet Forces units, including the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford. Load More
